A nice complete colony of this tabulate coral.

The outer surface of this coral colony has nice growth lines.
The colony lived on the seafloor and grew in a cone shape as
sediment accumulated around it. The irregular indentations show
that there were many other skeletons in the sediment and the
coral grew against them, producing indentations.Tom Yancey
