Mark Twain Lake fossil hunt
Northern Missouri
Mississippian - Burlington Formation
Carl and I (Barry) took Carl's boat and drove to the lake yesterday and
spent a few hours enjoying the scenery and collected a few fossils.
We took a few pictures to share with list.
The Burlington Formation is known for crinoid. Most
of the fossils
we collected were crinoid, however, we did find a nice blastoid and brachiopod.

There was a fishing tournament and we met and talked with these guys
when we took a break from fossil hunting.
We saw this interesting exposure and decided to check it out.
