Close-up 1 of algal mound flank facies, Worland Limestone
At the center is a clast of limestone consisting of
encrusting algal plates,
apparently in upside-down orientation. Most other clasts are somewhat
elongated pieces of skeletal micritic limestone, some of which contain
large skeletal grains (brachiopods and algal plates are visible here).
