These stone eggs were carved from smooth river stones by
an artist in China.
I purchased these 2 stone carvings a few years ago from
a fossil dealer friend at the MAPS fossil convention.Last I heard the artist is no longer carving these stone eggs.
The stone eggs and the National Geographic magazine makes
a nice display and a curiosity for visitors.Barry Sutton
