Giant stromatolite colony from Nevada desert

Estimated at 50 tons in one colony. Remnants of ancient Lake
Bonneville and west of Salt Lake City a few hundred miles. Last
picture is Professor Charles M. Love of Western Wyoming college's
Geology department. This eocene stromatolite specimen will be on the
college lawn by this fall. Chlorellopsis colonia Reis, 50 million year
old Green River Eocene.
